There are places where you almost automatically slow down. Pokhara is one of those places: a tranquil lake, the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas in the background, and air that smells of vastness. And it is exactly here that the "Renew and Reconnect" retreat takes place—a retreat in Nepal that combines yoga, Ayurveda, and meditation into a true getaway for body and mind.

A retreat in Nepal with a view of the Himalayas
From July 2 to 7, 2027, you will stay at the Himalayan Front Hotel in Pokhara. You will start your day with sunrise yoga as the mist slowly lifts from the mountains. The group is intentionally kept small, with a maximum of seven participants. This ensures space for personal guidance and genuine connection.
The retreat is suitable for all levels. You don't need any yoga experience, just the willingness to treat yourself to a few days of rest.

Yoga, meditation, and ancient teachings
Each day follows a gentle rhythm. The program includes invigorating yoga and meditation in the morning, and restorative yoga, sunset breathwork, or fireside meditation in the evening. In between, you will have time for workshops on ancient spiritual and health teachings in Ayurveda and how to integrate them into your daily life.
Special moments include a silent nature walk followed by outdoor yoga, an evening of mantra chanting and sound bathing, and a stroll along the lakeshore.

Ayurveda with an experienced doctor
What makes this retreat in Nepal special is the Ayurvedic guidance. On the very first day, you will receive a personal consultation to determine your constitution type (Dosha). Subsequent treatments are built upon this: a herbal oil massage, a therapeutic herbal steam bath, and an intensive herbal detoxification treatment.
In a cooking workshop, you will learn how to prepare healing Ayurvedic meals yourself. At the end, you will receive a personal nutrition guide to take home, ensuring the benefits of the retreat don't end at the airport.

Your instructor: Dr. Archana Pandey
Dr. Archana Pandey is a doctor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery (B.A.M.S., Ayurveda Institute Nepal). She has completed advanced training in Pancha Karma according to the Kerala tradition, is a trained meditation teacher, and has also studied Vedic astrology. For over six years, she has been sharing her knowledge—with great heart and the goal of giving people new energy and inner balance.
