Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training – 200 Hours

An intensive training in Arambol, North Goa, that combines Kundalini and tantra teachings with Hatha yoga. It starts with intensive Hatha practice and, after about a week, moves on to energy practices (Kriya yoga). You learn authentic techniques for expanding awareness and develop your own teaching style. The training comprises 200 hours over three weeks (21 days) and is taught in English, in a group of a maximum of 12 participants.

The course starts on the 3rd of each month. A flexible start is usually possible within the first week, and the course time is counted from your day of arrival.

Training content

• Philosophy and history of tantric yoga (including the Yoga Sutras, Shiva Sutras, Vijnana Bhairava Tantra)
• Pranayama and meditation, including traditional kriyas
• Shiva Sutras and Svar Yoga (voice activation, Vishuddha chakra)
• Asana, mudras and kriya, with variations and adjustments
• Teaching methodology and developing your own teaching style
• Business of yoga: self-marketing and career

Certification

You receive the qualification to register as RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance, as well as a letter of recognition as a Kundalini teacher.

Who it is for

For serious seekers who want to practise regularly. There are no physical requirements, but you should be able to sit down on the floor and get up again. Experience is an advantage, and beginners are welcome.

Price

From 794 euros with the “Sacred Access” special price. It applies only to accommodation in the air-conditioned dorm, is limited to 3 places per course and is subject to management approval. If you book and pay in full at least 30 days before the course starts, you get a 10% early bird discount. A 30% deposit is due to confirm the booking.

• 6:00 am wake-up call, morning cleansing and asana practice
• Pranayama and theory
• Kriya and alignment
• Mantra chanting
• Evening meditation (e.g. Yoga Nidra, Trataka)
• 8:45–9:30 pm satsang and group discussion
